These terms govern the sale of The Mamaw Book and its accompanying files ("the book") through this website. By completing a purchase you agree to them.

What you are buying

A digital product: a PDF book of approximately 176 pages containing 120 recipes, together with the additional files listed on the order page — a large-print edition, a three-recipe starter file, a measures card, a preserving calendar and blank pages for your own recipes. Nothing physical is shipped.

Price and payment

The price is shown on the order page in US dollars and is a single payment. There is no subscription and no recurring charge of any kind. Payment is processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details. Any bank fees or currency conversion charged by your own bank are yours.

Delivery

Access is delivered immediately after payment by on-screen download link and by email. If the files do not reach you, write to us and we will send them again by hand.

Licence and use

You may read the book on any device you own, print it in whole or in part for your own use, and keep it indefinitely. You may not resell it, republish it, share the files publicly or distribute copies. The text and photographs remain the property of the publisher.

Cooking, preserving and your own judgement

The book records one cook's practice in her own kitchen. Recipes involving home canning, pickling and preserving follow current tested guidance at the time of writing, and must be followed exactly, including altitude adjustments for your area — check with your local extension service. Home preserving carries real risks if done incorrectly. Nothing in the book is medical, dietary or nutritional advice. You are responsible for your own kitchen, your own equipment and your own judgement, and for checking ingredients against any allergies in your household.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with the book is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the date of your purchase.
